The idea for this blog post came to me from a bottle of VitaminWater I recently drank. The particular one I picked, XXX, contained a thought provoking statement under the name XXX.
“ever notice XXX has a bit of a reputation? on a game show it’s a letdown to the whole family, in the video store it’s the section you “accidentally” wandered into, and in marriage, one X can be expensive, but three?! that’s why we’re cleaning up XXX’s reputation.”
Then the label goes on to explain all the benefits of the contents you are about to consume.
Interesting how a self discovery journey can help a person understand the way our mind immediately jumps to a certain conclusion when it experiences words, sounds, sights, smells, textures and tastes.
When it comes to the mind the only thing that’s going to change how we perceive things is to change our mind. Some times this change is going to be hard and other times it is going to be very easy.
For the past 6 days I have been unable to have consistent, daily, 24/7 access to the internet. For me, this was a challenge, yes; however not a problem. Because I have changed my mind on the belief of problems. I no longer believe there is any such thing as a problem.
As you are reading this you are probably thinking “What, no such thing as a problem? Is she nuts!?”
I want to ask you a question. Is there something going on in your life that you can’t change?
In other words you have no control over the matter. For example a pay cut at work, a tax increase, paying taxes, someone no longer loving you, or the behavior someone else.
Ok, now this thing you have absolute no control over. What is it really a “problem” or a FACT?
It is really a fact. Everybody knows when it comes to facts, once you accept them you can move forward in life.
Now I have one more question for you. Is there something going on in your life you can change? In other words there are things you can do to change the situation.
Ok, then this situation you can do something about, something to change it. What is it really a “problem” or a CHALLENGE?
So, then if you’re not happy with a challenge you are facing, then what radical changes are you willing to make to change what you’re getting?
Just like with the words “chore” and “service“, you can change your thinking from problem to “fact” or “challenge“.
The challenge of not having 24/7 access to the internet did cause me to miss class this week. I was also not able to do other types of internet marketing I’ve gotten used to doing for the past few years. However, no internet access could not prevent me from learning and growing.
I still read my cards, said my affirmations, called my Master Mind Partners, and actually lived parts of my DMP. Spending time with our four kids no matter where in the world they live. ArmyGuy currently lives in Mainz, Germany.
Till next time…….

This week I am really learning how to us my imagination to construct my future. Just like any living thing, our imagination must be supplied with nourishment.
